SPY Henry Lau 3D Website & Shopping UX
In an immersive metaverse style 3D multi-user experience, this award-winning website allowed visitors to see and interact with each other in real-time inside a metaverse-style 3D castle with several different rooms for areas such as collections, online shop, biograpgy, press, stores locator, etc.
Simultaneous visitors could see and interact with each other through flying skull avatars, and elevate their status and earn virtual currency points as they continued to visit and play in the castle, which could be exchanged for discounts in the online store.
The project seamlessly combined an array of cutting-edge web technologies such as Papervision3D for the real-time metaverse rendering and Adobe Media Communication Server (FMS), which enabled the multi user experience and virtual currency wallets.
In addition to the 3D castle experience, which received several web awards, a custom-designed online shop with dedicated payment gateway was created.
